SNA’s Award-Winning Beautification Program has included planting 225 trees, installation and maintenance of 150 surface planters and hanging baskets, and hanging 125 colorful Sheffield street banners identifying Sheffield as the Garden District of Chicago.

Garden Walk proceeds also fund upgrades and maintenance in Trebes and Clover Parks, new beds in Trebes in 2005 and 2007, as well as distribution of the bi-monthly Sheffield Neighborhood News to every resident, business, and institution in the Sheffield neighborhood.

In addition, proceeds fund SNA’s Concerts in Trebes Park, sponsorship of local children’s sports, a neighborhood outing to a DePaul Women’s Basketball Game, 43rd Ward Senior Bingo, and other events.
